A distinguished business leader, Marlene boasts over 40 years of management experience across both the public and private sectors. After leaving Transport for London in 2003, she founded HOPE Superjobs Ltd., a healthcare and support services provider dedicated to assisting children and adults with complex health needs and disabilities.

Her generosity and steadfast commitment to service are evident in the numerous success stories that have flourished under her guidance. Marlene is an authentic and influential leader who thrives on driving impactful change in society. Marlene’s dedication to empowerment and advocacy has made her a formidable force in addressing some of the community’s most pressing social challenges.

Marlene’s extensive career includes contributions to prominent organizations such as Mintel International Group, Sait Marine Ltd., Instituto de Resseguros do Brazil, and Edward Lumley & Sons Ltd. Additionally, she served as the Equality and Diversity Advisor to the Chief Executive of Barking and Dagenham, playing a crucial role in establishing the race equality scheme for Havering and securing the disability plaque for Barking and Dagenham.
